HAPPY 55^th INDEPENDENCE DAY

For this year, there is no event in Gua Damai for the celebrations of the 55^th Independence Day.

However... it does not mean that the park is quiet & empty. While waiting for the clock to strike12 times, from 2100HRS a group of climbers did their night climbing and a group of youth from ‘Belia 4B Wira Damai’ celebrated with a BBQ party consisting of yummy food like grilled chicken meat and fried noodle.  Nurul Jannah,one of  the Belia 4B Wira Damai cllimber, did not want to miss her opportunity to blow her 14^th birthday candles.“HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAKLONG”.

For those who are keen to watch the International BASE Jumper leap from the edge of the cliff, come to Gua Damai on  25^th September to make more merry. Scheduled are a few International BASE Jumper to boost up their adrenalin at the height of 316 feet. Don’t forget to bring along your camera………..

We are happy to inform you that 20 new signages have been put up along the way to Gua Damai Extreme Park by Majlis Perbandaran Selayang.

On 25th September 2012, in conjunction with KL Tower's BASE jump tour, a few of the jumpers will attempt a few cliff jump at Gua Damai Extreme Park in the morning.

KL Tower will be having their event on 27th September 2012.

UPGRADING WORK AT GUA DAMAI EXTREME PARK

A new Toilet will be built next to the "Bouldering Wall" of Gua Damai. Hooray!

Majlis Perbandaran Selayang, the local municipal council is heading the Phase 1 of upgrading Gua Damai Extreme Park. Soon, there will be more facilities available to the public. We hope to see Phase 2 to be carried out within next year.

Work started on 28th February and is expected to complete by end of April 2012.

Gua Damai Extreme Park will have a new gazebo for picnickers and climbers to gaze at the rock climbers.   

The 50 metres of quality "rubber mat" walkway. and will be along soon with bolting more new routes at this area. This is just next to the playground.
