NOTICE TO ACCOMPANYING SPOUSE,FAMILY MEMBERS OR FRIENDS OF PARTICIPANTS OF GUA DAMAI INTERNATIONAL BASE JUMP 2017

Date : 26th and 27th September

You are allowed to accompany your spouse or family to the peak of Gua Damai. Please adhere to the following rules.

1. You must wear shoes, Slippers or flip flops are not allowed.
2. You must wear a safety helmet and harness. These will be provided to you free of charge.

If you do not comply to the rules above, you will be denied entry to the cave. It is for your own safety.

WELCOME, BASE JUMPERS!

We are happy to welcome you to the 10th consecutive year where the management of Gua Damai Extreme Park opened their small and famous cliff for BASE jumping. This is a popular cliff that many participants have jumped from (legally), before the main event at KL Tower. Please see our information about the jump and fill in the registration form. Here is some information for participants :

GUA DAMAI BASEJUMP 2017

Cliff:                   GUA DAMAI

Height:               96 metres

Jump Days :      26 & 27th September 2017 (2 days and morning session only)

Organiser   :      The Municipal Council of Selayang (MPS)

Gua Damai is the first and only place in Malaysia where all BASE Jumpers can jump from the height of 316 feet (96M) from its cliff and land in the football field.

Transportation to Gua Damai Extreme Park

There will be 2 buses to transport the jumpers from hotel to Gua Damai for the 2 days.

The 1st bus will be at the lobby of the Pacific Regency Hotel Suite, by 0600 HOURS. The 2nd bus will be there at 0615 HOURS.

All jumpers must be at the lobby 10 minutes before the above stated time. If you miss it, just take a Grab Car to Gua Damai Extreme Park. It will cost you about RM35 per car x 4 passengers. It is advisable to travel in a group, as it will reduce your expenses.

Fee is Ringgit 200.00 for the 2 days jump.                            

Participant will be given an event T Shirt, Jump passport, welcoming drinks and a goodies bag each. There will be an unlimited supply of free drinking water for the 2 days’ jump.

You must present your “Jump Passport” at the entrance, every time you wish to jump. If you lose your jump passport, there will be charges for a replacement.

Medical Travel Insurance:~                                                       

All participants must have medical travel insurance that covers them for BASE jumping during all events.

Waiver Forms

It is a requirement for every participant sign the waiver form at the registration counter on the registration day.
