Date: 19th Jan, 2014
On sunday, 20 students from KUIS came to Gua Damai to check out what
they friends have been talking about the fun and adventure they had. They got
acquainted with En. Mustapha, the park Manager.
The senior students started with jungle trekking, scrambling and climbing
up the mountain steadily. Each one of them were responsible for their safety
gears. When each one of the students got onto the ‘flying fox’ or zip line, they
would scream with excitement... The glide is a 250 metres in length.
The next activity was educational caving in Ichibawa Cave, and this time they were
lucky to be shown 2 caves as the students were small in number. One of the
caves is Chili Padi, which is clean and has more formations than the other
cave. as cave curtain, rimstone dam, stalagtites, gour, pothole
They then had lunch before continuing with rappelling
activity which ends at 6pm.
